black out!

1 hal di dunia ini yang paling bikin cape dan ga tahan: mati lampu! Alias mati listrik...terutama lagi hamil gini,please deh pln,you ruin my day....joice juga keringatan sampai satu kepala kaya keramas ha ha ha,and I can't do anything,cuma meratap dan ngapppp panassss...

Last time,mati sampai 5 jam,joice bobo 2 jam (untungnya) but I couldn't sleep at all,malah sesak nafas rasanya...kepala pusing dan dehidrasi rasanya, today untung 3 jam,itu pun,I almost burnt out...panasss skali,joice refused to eat her lunch. Her head was soaked with sweat :) and I just sat on floor and prayed ... (Cepatlahhh pln...) So at 1.30 pm,nyala juga..can you imagine that I'm pregnant and hot?!?!? Hotter than ever...when you are pregnant,just wish that the weather helps you through each day, kalau panas,I know that we (pregnant ladies) can't bare....

Bandung euy...

May 28-30,2010---longggg weekend!

So I thought why don't we go to bandung?? Booked hotel in last minute (untunggg dape heheheh,ga pernah rugi deh), then asked my husband to arrange time, then we went to bandung at friday morning..

Biasa...macet mearayap,but its still better, 3 hours sampai juga di pasteur untuk lunch,perut lapar dan kantong kemih minta dikuras bak :) lunch @raja sunda, the food is just so so,but the service is good and we were starving.meal was finished in 10mins.joice already had lunch on car (kelaparannn), then we go directly to hotel gumilang regency di sethiabudi, the only place which was still available,yang lain semua uda penuh bo....sampai sana,the deluxe room isn't bad...bisa park mobil di depan pintu hotel percis,enaknya...angkut barang tinggal masuk ke hotel,naik turun mobil juga gampang for bumil he he...after unpack, shower, turun cari dinner, di daerah sana, decided to try tomodachi. Resto dgn menu europe and international.enak tuh.ambience nya enak,nice food, excellent service,pengen banget nyoba kue nya but full teng teng banget. Ordered thai n beef (for him), chicken tomodachi special (for me) and soup with cream and hat (for little one :) ),smua puassss hehehehe,went back to hotel and ping san langsung bobo..hahaha

Day 2,leyeh leyeh di kamar after full breakfast, then meeting up with my cousin's family yang baru sampai dr jkt, we met @jendela alam. Tempat rekreasi outdoor yg banyak banget animals nya, mulai dari ayam,bebek,angsa,rusa,kambing,sampai sapi perah ndut. Joice and her cousin,annabel really enjoued the time here. Entrance fee only 6000, sayangnya memang tempat ini bagus tapi kurang terawat. Should be bisa lebih bersih dan terjaga,lagi senang2 main,hujannnn,berteduh di saung,the kids sang songs and parents were chatting...sambil liat ternyata banyak tanaman yah, ada wortel,kangkung,daun bawang,seledri,labu,dll.smua tampak segar! Hmmmm nice,coba kalau bisa dibeli yah he he after the rain stopped,kita turun ke kampung gajah. Wow! Banyak mainan ternyata...checking around trus ujan lagi deh...yahhhh...so kita makan dulu deh..I ordered banana cheese pancake and frozen vanilla..hm..nyammmm nyammmm.. The kids were having milk :) the weather was nice! Sejuk2 dan dingin hujan..till 4.30,kita cabut juga,krn masih hujan dan udah cape...so they went back to their villa,meanwhile our car moved down...joice slept on car and mama wanted to take a peek @fo hahahaha iseng aja...mampir ke rumah mode cari baju joice.ruameee and cuma dapat 1 ( :( ) apa bole buat deh... Then dinner was ; ikan pesmol cianjur...nyammmmmm

Day 3: bener2 cuma leha2 di kamar after breakfast. Woke up late @8.30 ha ha baru breakfast...after breakfast back to leha2 until 10.30,everybody took shower,my husband decided beli sedikit oleh2,jadi kita turun ke dago (amanda) then had lunch @ bakmie rica kejaksaan..this time,I gave up hiks...its too too tooooo spicy! Masa sampai minum es teh 2 gelas,padahl baru 6 suap.then I gave up and just ate dumplings plus bakpao to take away...es durenku kabur sebelum slesai makan :( abangnya hilang dgn gerobaknya...

After that,pulangggg...cari toll and pulang langsung ke rumah...untungnya ga macet..about 2,5 hours plus udah toilet break,kita sampai deh..home sweet homee....akh..nice to be at home...

But next time,akan lama lagi sampai kita bisa jalan-jalan,beacuse our new family member will come soon he he,our dear baby boy tinggal tunggu 2 months lagi untuk ketemu and main main sama cece joice :)

So ... When will be our next holiday?? Hehehehe

tough days

Ada hari-hari yang joice sungguh menguji kesabaran mama :) ada juga hari-hari joice bener-bener nurut and soooo sweet...today is one of the challenging day. Biasanya nap time cukup smooth,asal udah mamam,susu then joice akan senang untuk bobo,but today, she just doesn't want to be in room and sleep. Minta keluar kamar,pipis. After pipis,panggil-panggil mbak minta temenin main,suruh ke kamar,minta buka pintu keluar,ga dikasi then she grabbed my hands and dragged me outside. Intinya: she just wanted to play!! No other reason...

Dipeluk juga ga mau, dipaksa apalagi wuehehehe, akhirnya senjata terakhir keluar: joice,kalau bobo,nanti bangung kita main-main sama pho2,tapi kalau sekarang ga bobo,pho2 ga mau main. Anyway, pho2 will come actually later, I need to go tutoring a student so pho2 eventually will come to accompany joice...then you know what?? Joice langsung rebahan dan mau bobo,tanpa paksaan,I turned on the music and patted her, she fell asleep . Just like that!

Gubrakkkk...hahahaha...so,next time,dear parents,just try so many 'weapons' to 'conquer' the strong-headed of your little ones. Be creative....

Joice,besok-besok kalau jam bobo,kita bobo yah....or you will be too tired dear....and can't enjoy the rest of the day...

sekolah minggu

Sekolah minggu...sekolah minggu..rumah kanak kanak semua...

Joice really loves this song! Kita di rumah juga suka role play main sekolah mingguan..we sing songs and I read her bible story full with gaya-gaya dan buku-buku gambar hahahahaha we really enjoy singing and telling stories to each other...

Thank God I have a bible (alkitabku sebelum tidur) for kids. Yang aneh yah,gambar di buku kurang menarik, tapi joice selalu minta diceritain tiap malam sblm bobo...jadi ceritanya dibikin sesimple mungkin bahasanya buat dia. Cerita2 seperti daud,samuel,ruth,salomon,dll. Kalau buku itu terselip,joice lupa,tapi sekarang walaupun terselip,dia ingat. She says kunang2 but you will hear 'ngeng ngeng' hihihi means kunang2 ha ha,tapi kadang she totally forgets and just go straight to sleep...

Anyway,last sunday,karena we have to wait for papa,so joice masuk ke sekolah minggu siang daripada bengong di luar :) ternyata untuk kelas besar, jadi banyak anak yang jauh lebih besar. Dengan pedenya,waktu dipanggil lause,joice langsung maju,ambil kursi dan duduk. I was so surprised! Trus dia langsung ikut nyanyi dan gaya-gaya,kebetulan lagu-lagunya cukup familiar,jadi dia bisa semua gaya-gayanya (hehehehe). Beberapa anak seumur dia malah tetap dipangku sama pengasuh or mamanya di belakang. Mostly yang duduk hanya umur 3. Atau minimal 2,5. I was so proud of her, she could sit still, she just stood up for several times,karena gimanapun dia ga betah juga..trus duduk lagi. Waktu lause tanya,siapa yang mau pipis, she understood, she held her pampers then back to sit. I thought she realized that she was wearing one he he, so another lause thought she's already grown up or something, she didn't notive her bulky pampers underneath her pants, so she asked: mau pipis juga ga? I just laughed from distance away. Lause itu pikir joice udah ga pake pampers kali hahahahaha...*gaya sok tua sih joice...

After the short time at class, I took her out for lunch and papa sudah selesai. So we thought that after I give birth, we better join kelas yang agak siang ini. Supaya I can bring baby and my mom yang ikut kebaktian siang bisa bantu jaga joice di kelas or papa juga bisa gantian...I think its best for her! By the time I give, she's almost 2 years old anyway....

keep growing up, joice...semoga sunday school can shape not only your faith but your maturity and character, to prepare you for school next year! He he

down to one time sleeping ...(finally)

Akhirnya...joice has set up her sleeping habit, selama di sing,emang udah kelihatan agak2 mau berubah,tapi sepulang dari holiday,barulah she really try to be settled.

Selama beberapa hari minggu lalu, joice bobo pagi hari only one hour, terus makan and maen,jam 3 or 4 sore baru bobo lagi sampai 5.30 or almost 6. Nah hari ini hari ke 4,kalau dia ternyata emang bobo cuma one time sekarang,sekitar jam 1 or 1.30 sampai jam 4 or 4.30.

Dimulai pas pagi,bangun bobo,makan n susu seperti biasa,sampai jam 10an biasa minta bobo,kali ini udah jam 11,masih segar,disuruh bobo ga mau,tapi kucek2 mata melulu..akhirnya jam 11.30 minta susu (hah....tengah bolong) so I just gave her lunch aja,daripada susu lagi...dia makan dengan laparnya he he,jam 12.30 matanya uda berat,minta susu dan bobo...

The next day, jam 1, lebih pas,jadi bangun jam 3. Then the next day lagi, jam 1.30 sampai 3,dan sekarang jam 1.30,lebih pas lagi waktu untuk anak bobo siang :)

This is telling me that she's not a baby anymore, she's a kid! Waktunya menjadi anak-anak,dengan jam tidur teratur dan makan teratur. Di satu sisi, I'm thankful to God karena masa transisinya went smoothly,dia cepat sekali adjust ke jam tidur yang baru and dia juga malam hari pasti bobo jam 10 dan bangun jam 8 pagi. Teratur sekali...(I wish I can also be like that! Hehehehe) justru mamanya yang agak ga teratur, not to mention papa. Kadang bisa bobo early,kadang ga bisa bobo till midnight,entah karena bolak balik pipis or just can't sleep. Sakit pinggang,rasanya menekan,kadang mau pipis melulu :( wah akhirnya pas mau bobo,joice tiba-tiba mimpi,kudu tepok2in lagi dulu :) akhirnya mencoba untuk bobo lagi...huehehehe

Welcome to toddlerhood ya joice...

third semester and 'jalan jalan'

Uh oh...I feel heavier now, finally at third semester,my tummy looks bigger I think..everyone says its not as big as I pregnant with joice before..but third semester is challenging now for I need to take care of this big sister joice :)

I notice that my mood swing is better than before, I am calmer and somehow more patient to handle things...more easygoing and try to enjoy this last moment of pregnancy. I admit that I start to lazy to pick up things on the floor. Blessed to have maid and my husband around to help me hehehehe I find it difficult to bend over my knee or to stnad up from sit down position. On my first pregnancy I didn't do a lot exercises but now I need to sit down and stnad up for like many times a day, its torturing my legs sometimes, so just use my hands to lift up my body :) last time I measured that I was already 56 kg, means that I have 12 kg since first month..oh no! That's too much...huiksss...I could gain more in these 2,5 months to go...afraid that I would gain in total 20 kg again like the first pregnancy...wow..! But fortunately,I was so easy back to my normal weight after gave birth..its genetically from my mom..we were all skinny so never care about gaining weight hahahaha!

I feel guilty if I don't play with joice as much as before..she needs fresh air everyday, so I try to walk with her at around 5 p.m. Just to walk around our house area, looking for birds, cats, dogs, and children play around with bicycles. Its just fun for joice. A sight and walk before dinner. I also don't need to carry her around, we just walk hand-in-hand and enjoy the short walk :) I still think that won't be enough for her, so on weekend, my husband and I will take to some new places for her. Somehow I feel pity if she will stay at home much later after I give birth. A comfort for me is that she will go to school next year and spend more interesting hours there, little baby will be one year old on that time. We will enjoy to take and pick up cece from school! :)

So for now, we still have a little more time to enjoy the moment for three of us only. We still have some places to bring joice around, like beach, seaworld, playground, etc..all about trying new things and let her to explore more, her toddler time is only once in a lifetime, I hope she really could enjoy it and grow with things that God has created around her...I believe no matter how little or worthless the activity, it still gives impact to little children. She learns about it and grow in it :)

Singapore trip!

Yup...we were boring at home (mom and joice), we thought that a little break would be nice before a new member of our family arrive :) so papa is ready to take us to a short trip with pho pho too :) kung kung actually could come along but he had busy job :(

So off we went to sg at apr 30,yay!
We stayed at ciu2 ayi n ciumu selvi's apartment. First day was spent @ikea.joice had fun at children toys section, didn't want to leave the place before we persuaded her with $1 sandwich finally in front of cashier. Heheheh
Day two was spent at singapore zoo. Joice had a blast at rainforest splash, she never really see so many kids play around in water area. We've been to sing when she's 10 months old. She still didn't understand on that time, but now she's 1,5 years old, much more mature and mobile.

We saw so many animals at zoo,too! Pho2 was tired, she couldn't bare with sing hot weather..well, I couldn't bare it too actually hahahah since I love outdoor more than indoor activities so I was still fine, as long as supplied with water all the time, my husband looked tired too, so when joice took a nap, we also took a break at the the corner of ah meng resto...zipped for a couple glass of ice lemon tea and had lunch afterward...

Sunday morning,we all went to church at GRII Singapore, planned to have bak kut the but joice was so sleepy, then we headed to raffless, to enjoy food republic. After nap, then we went to esplanade..it was first time for joice!

Monday morning, my husband need to leave to catch morning flight, he had lots of things to do at office, so we are going to spend three more days without him *sigh :( so monday was spent at orchard ion mall and went to kopo's house.

Tuesday was spent whole day at universal studios, joice was excited to ride on king julien's carousel ‎​♓έ♓έ♓έ....! Other than that she's too small to enjoy the ride, so basically mommy is the one who was excited to take lots of pictures with joice, pho2, and all characters...to end the day, we gave joice a time to play with water at vivo city..waaaa she didn't want to go home, she just wanted to play and play..wish we have one like this in jkt with clean water too! But we don't have it..too bad...so joice played for about half an hour until we really should persuade her to change her clothes because its started to be windy.

Wedenesday...off we went back to jakarta...shall we go again later for the next 2 years ahead...huhuhu or at least 1,5 years later...we wait until dede grow up ya joice :) so he can enjoy it too! Allright,papa?!?! Hehehehe
